Our Manager Trainee Program provides hands-on experience in sales, operations, customer service, finance, and leadership development, preparing you for advancement into a Branch Manager role in as little as 12-18 months.
Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour ($39,520 annually)

What You'll Do

Learn the Business from the Ground Up

Gain real-world experience across all aspects of branch operations while building the leadership skills needed for future management roles.

Deliver Outstanding Customer Experiences

  • Support location sales and performance goals
  • Create positive customer experiences that build loyalty and satisfaction
  • Learn effective sales strategies and CRM best practices
  • Develop strong relationship-building and problem-solving skills

Drive Operations Excellence

  • Gain hands-on experience with fleet management, logistics, and inventory control
  • Assist with daily branch operations and compliance procedures
  • Learn how operational efficiency impacts overall business performance

Support Vehicle & Facility Operations

  • Help prepare vehicles for customers
  • Assist with lot organization and fleet readiness
  • Support customer service initiatives and branch appearance standards

Develop Business & Financial Acumen

  • Learn finance and transaction processes
  • Assist with reporting, documentation, and business metrics
  • Understand how key decisions impact branch profitability and growth

Build Leadership Skills

  • Work directly with branch leadership and management teams
  • Develop experience in coaching, scheduling, and team development
  • Participate in structured leadership training programs
  • Prepare for future advancement opportunities within Hertz

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

  • At least 20 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to advance
  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Previous experience in a professional work environment preferred
